Affordable Housing Loan Program - 2023 NOFA
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Housing Loan Program 2023 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) provides for the availability of just over eight million dollars for the new construction or acquisition/rehabilitation of affordable housing in the Gateway Cities subregion. Eligible applicants are experienced affordable housing developers with new projects in cities that will be in compliance with State housing law no later than May 2024, and which do not have their own allocation of Homeless Initiative funds (e.g. Long Beach). Currently, the cities in compliance are the cities of Avalon, Bell, Bell Gardens, Downey, Lakewood, Montebello, Paramount, Signal Hill, and Whittier.
The deadline for applications is November 15, 2023 at 5:00pm. The online application form is available HERE.
An applicant meeting will be held on October 26th from 10:00-11:30am on Zoom. This applicant meeting is not mandatory. Interested developers may register for the meeting here.
