Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program provides gap financing for new affordable housing developments in the Gateway Cities region. On September 17, 2026, the Trust Board adopted revised Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program Guidelines. These Guidelines provide the terms, conditions and requirements for (i) the Trust’s issuance of Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs), (ii) the Trust’s selection of projects for Trust funding, and (iii) the Trust’s issuance of loans to Trust selected projects.
On October 1, 2026, the Trust issued a NOFA for $1,772,824.24, including $738,328.84 in Measure A funding provided through the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency (LACAHSA), $386,532.30 in Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) funding, $384,615.39 in Local Solutions Fund (LSF) funding, and $263,347.71 Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) funding. The NOFA application deadline is November 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted through the Trust’s online application portal.
