Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program provides gap financing for new affordable housing developments in the Gateway Cities region. On January 22, 2026, the Trust Board adopted the Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program Guidelines. These Guidelines provide the terms, conditions and requirements for (i) the Trust’s issuance of Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs), (ii) the Trust’s selection of projects for Trust funding, and (iii) the Trust’s issuance of loans to Trust selected projects.
On March 25, 2026, the Trust issued a NOFA for $5,650,082 in Measure A funding provided through the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency (LACAHSA). The NOFA application deadline is April 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted through the Trust’s online application portal. There will be an applicant meeting and Q&A session held on April 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Interested developers can register for the applicant meeting here.
