Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program provides gap financing for new affordable housing developments in the Gateway Cities region. On January 22, 2026, the Trust Board adopted the Affordable Multi-Family Loan Program Guidelines. These Guidelines provide the terms, conditions and requirements for (i) the Trust’s issuance of Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs), (ii) the Trust’s selection of projects for Trust funding, and (iii) the Trust’s issuance of loans to Trust selected projects.
On June 10, 2026, the Trust issued a NOFA for $4,070,802, including $2,035,401 in Measure A funding provided through the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency (LACAHSA) and $2,035,401 in Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) funding. The NOFA application deadline is July 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted through the Trust’s online application portal. There will be an applicant meeting and Q&A session held on June 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Interested developers can register for the applicant meeting here.
