Affordable Housing Loan Program
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Housing Loan Program 2024 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) provides for the availability of just over $5.7 million for the new construction or acquisition/rehabilitation of affordable housing in the Gateway Cities subregion. Eligible applicants are experienced affordable housing developers with new projects in cities that will be in compliance with State housing law no later than May 2025. Currently, the cities in compliance are the cities of Avalon, Bell, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Maywood, Montebello, Norwalk, Paramount, Signal Hill, and Whittier.
The deadline for applications is March 15, 2024 at 5:00pm. The online application form is available HERE.
An applicant meeting will be held on February 13th from 1:00-2:30pm on Zoom. This applicant meeting is not mandatory. Interested developers may register for the meeting here.
